F.A.W. INSTRUCTORS COURSE BY DISTANCE LEARNING

Course Introduction

“The general consensus is that a P.F.E. instructors qualification would appear to cover both the need for a theoretical and practical input for new trainers as well as the means by which they can be evaluated by qualified assessors.

This course would contribute well to the portfolio development and embraces the concept of competency-based training as well, coming within the general guidance agreed between this unit and the Training Approval Services Consortium.”

– Ian Kershaw, Ex Head of First Aid Approvals and Monitoring Section, H.S.E., Manchester, 3rd July 1997 –

Following on from our successful pilot study with the HSE looking into the possibilities of FAW training by Distance Learning we have cascaded the results of that study into our well known and nationally renowned First Aid Instructors Course.

The course was a great experience for me. I have learned everything I need for First Aid, the tutor was extremely professional – 10 – Gatwick

Additional Information

It is now possible to undertake the Instructors Course via a Distance Learning pathway you can access all the course details from the above download link.

Where large numbers of personnel are required to be trained we will negotiate a discounted price.

We will not be beaten on price, we will match or undercut any bona fide approved training quotation in the U.K.

Associated costs include all course notes and workbook training notes and certification.

VAT is added to the cost of the DL course.

The price also includes the cost of the course Handbook

During the course you will find yourself in a friendly environment where rather than be spoken at you will be involved in a discussion-style environment that lends itself just as much to what the Instructor can tell you as to what knowledge and life experiences you bring to the course as well.

With 0ver 30 Years of experience – you’re in the safest of hands.

PFE have done away with the starched regimented approach to First Aid Instruction and instead provide a happy meaningful environment where “shared” learning and experiences can come together to underpin the factual knowledge required to become a First Aider.

Each tutor and assessor is individually assessed and evaluated in terms of their delivery by you the candidate, so while we are running courses all over the UK you will be our eyes and ears into assisting us with our quality control delivery.
