PFE FIRST AID TRAINING SERVICES LTD values you as our customer and recognizes that privacy
is important to you. We want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose the limited
amount of data that we collect on your behalf.
This Privacy Statement describes the privacy practices of PFE FIRST AID TRAINING SERVICES
LTD for data that we collect:
• We collect data provided by you for the purposes of allocating your candidates on First Aid at Work
Courses, Qualifying and Refresher courses and Emergency First Aid at Work Courses (EFAW) and
any associated courses that show on our website at www.pfe-firstaid.com.
• The data that is collected, is your data and used only for the purposes of providing you with a
record of your First Aiders for your files and audit purposes.
• Our privacy statement appears at the bottom of all client databases and at the bottom of our emails
when we communicate with you for the purposes of organising courses, offering a reminder service
or dealing with general enquiries related to the practice of our business.
COLLECTION OF DATA
“Personal Data” are data that identify you as an individual or relate to an identifiable individual. The
following list is data that we collect on your behalf, this is limited in terms of “personal data”
• PIN Number
• Postal address
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Employer details
HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA
We collect Personal Data in a variety of ways:
• We collect Personal Data when you make a course booking with our services, complete a
registration form when attending a course or make payment for a course via electronic means e.g.
credit / debit cards.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER DATA
We use Personal Data to provide you with a necessary record of training that you as an individual or
you as a company require to have under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This data is not shared with any other organisation or enterprise other than you as the recipient of the
data. This data can be updated, changed, or deleted at any time by you the client. PFE FIRST AID
TRAINING SERVICES only act as the custodian of the data to help and assist you with your
management of First Aid.
2. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER DATA
Our goal is to provide you with the most up to date information in respect of your First Aider database
to help and assist you with your responsibilities under the necessary legislation of the Health & Safety
(First Aid) Regulations 1981. In doing so there is no disclosure of the data that we hold with any other
party other than the specific client to whom the data refers to.
THIRD PARTY ADVERTISERS
We do not use any third party advertisers.
We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect Personal
Data. Our data is protected by appropriate Firewalls and backed up daily off site and on site. While we
appreciate that no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure we do
endeavour to keep it as safe as is deemed reasonably practicable. Furthermore the type of data we
collect is unlikely to cause a “breach” in terms of identification of a specific individual’s personal status as we do not retain any financial data or specific personal data i.e. National Insurance numbers etc on any individual.
CHOICES, ACCESS AND RETENTION
You have choices when it comes to how we use your data and we want to ensure you have the
information to make the choices that are right for you.
In the unlikely event that you no longer wish to receive a database with your First Aid information on it
we will not compile such information as per your request. Simply email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you lose your First Aider database we can send you a further copy at any time. If you wish to update
your database due to a person or persons having left your company simply notify us and we will
update your records and send you a further updated copy. The responsibility for the relevance of your
database rests with you the client, our data is therefore only as good as your communication with us
by virtue of keeping us up to date with movements that may occur with personnel in your company
who are First Aid qualified.
We retain your First Aider database for as long as you wish to trade with us as your provider of First
Aid at Work training.
Certificates issued to individuals which contain name, PIN Number date of attendance, date of expiry
are retained for a period of 12 months.
Post course evaluation forms which may or may not contain a person’s name on them are retained for
a period of 12 months.
3. HOW YOU CAN ACCESS, CHANGE OR SUPPRESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
If you would like to review, correct, update, suppress, restrict or delete Personal Data that you have
previously provided to us, or if you would like to receive an electronic copy of your Personal Data you

In your request, please make clear what Personal Data you would like to have changed.
For your protection, we only fulfill requests for the Personal Data associated with the particular email
address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling
your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
We do not collect Sensitive Data (e.g., social security numbers, national identification number, data
related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, ideological or other beliefs, health,
biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background, trade union membership, or administrative
or criminal proceedings and sanctions).
UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT
The “LAST UPDATED” legend at the top of page 1 indicates when this Privacy Statement was last
revised. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Statement on our
website at www.pfe-firstaid.com
